Hi! We’re not ready to open registration yet, but a couple of things – and PLEASE pass these along to people you think haven’t seen this, which will largely be those not on FB (If you got here from wp.baitcon.org, know that I posted a link to this on the FB group, and in the Dreamwidth)
A) There is a mailing list – baitcon-interest – that you can’t add yourself to (if anyone knows how to make a Google Workspaces list do that, talk to me), but that I can. It’ll get 1-3 pieces of mail a year, mostly announcing dates, telling people to start watching here, or on FB, etc., pointing out reg is open, etc.
If you know someone who needs to be on it, let them know to ask me. (I’m going to send a pointer to this post to it.)
B) The website this is posted on – wp.baitcon.org – was moved to a new hosting location, a new version of WordPress, a new theme, etc.
At the time I’m writing this it’s NOT up-to-date, and I’m SURE there are broken links etc., but let me know if there’s something SUPER broken.
Most of the info is valid, but if there’s something year-specific, I’ll have an explicit note on the page when it’s considered up-to-date for XXxi.
B’) This means that RSS is working again, too – for those of you (all 2 of you 😉 who still use it – https://wp.baitcon.org/feed
C) COVID: The full details are still being worked out, but there WILL be on-site testing again on arrival.
